scope planning : based on the area of my choice which is the ozone, I have sketched an illustration for my poster...this illustration is about the ozone depletion which is a process that continuously broken down the ozone layer and allow more UV rays to reach the earth....I have drawn the earth in ascending order from small to big, I am trying to show the sequence of the depletion of ozone and which one of the earth will receive more ultraviolet rays....I will use cold colour like blue and green on the 1st small earth and then I will slowly increase the gradient of the colour from cold colour to hot colour in ascending order on each of the earth...

assingment 2 - the process

Firstly, I use the drawing that I have scanned as a based for me to trace the shape in adobe illustrator.....

After that, I use the ellipse tool to for the shape of the circle...

Next, I use the pencil tool to trace the shape of the map in the circle and then I delete the drawing behind the shape that I have traced...

Using the small picture at the top left of the page as a reference, I try to choose the suitable colour for my illustration....

And then, I use the gradient tool to create a gradient in the colour of the globe...

I try to find the best level of gradient of colour to use in the globe....

Once I got the suitable gradient of colour to use, I click on the effect toolbar and select brush strokes. After that I select the ink outlines effect...

Lastly, I created a black background with the effect of chalk and charcoal from the sketch category.
